Controls:

WSAD/Arrows/Left Mouse - Move

Left Mouse Click On Object- Interact

Right Mouse  Button - Rotate Camera

I - Inventory

M - Minimap

On Inventory Screen the Button at the top opens quest log

(I would have added a key bind for this but the feature is WIP in engine and thus not available yet).

A game made with RPG In A Box for Sloyd Gamejam #2

SUBMISSION FOR MAIN EVENT with Theme Insomnia

Objects made using Sloyd (and then voxelized).

  1. Player and All NPCs: Nanorasmus’ Robot/Humanoid generator
  2. Zeppelin (transport method for player)
  3. Go Kart (turned into a futuristic car design by scaling the wheels)
  4. Bench
  5. Bus Stop
  6. Fountain
  7. Ring (collectible item)
  8. Lantern (held by the player)
  9. Construction Barrier
  10. Street Lights (Both generators, totaling 3 variations)
  11. Watch Tower
  12. Ladder
  13. Billboard
  14. Swings
  15. Signpost
  16. Trees (2 generator variations),
  17. Piano.
  18. Another version of the Go Kart for a somewhat less good condition car type.
  19. Crane.
  20. Tent.
  21. Barrel.
  22. Simple Bed.
  23. I-Beams (repeated to create a certain object).

How awesome: this game is nearly all Sloyd and it doesn't even look like it was taken out of Sloyd. And the storytelling is really entertaining - could be expanded from a minigame to a full quest.

I really enjoyed the jam and I will consider it. I found it much easier to build something scalable in this engine than I found during the last jam using Unity.
